Tips
Nathan got a notice last week that he had received a $4 tip for delivering the clipper. He has been doing it for 2 months and so far has received praises both months for not missing a paper. Some days are pretty close calls on getting it done on time, but he has his loving mother there to help (most of the times). Anyway, I am really proud of the job he has done.

Updates
Well, I have been checking out everyone's blogs, and some have new things on them and some don't. Now, I realize that I haven't been the best at adding things to my blog, but when I check out other people's blogs, I expect there to be something new and exciting there. So, get busy! I'll be checking up on you.....just kidding!
This has been a busy week. I am trying to wrap up our ward cookbook project. Recipes have been trickling in, but now they are really picking up the pace. My due date is tomorrow. Then I will start organizing the ones I have and hopefully get them turned in soon.
It has also been our school Carnival, and since Nathan is in the student council, I needed to help with their booth---the Bake Sale. Last night, the weather was perfect for the carnival. They had a lot of fun rides (hay ride, a bounce house, a blow up obstacle course, and then some games. The face painters were phenominal. The donations we received for the bake sale were numerous and very well put together. I think the student council made close to $800 which will help them with their spring service project. I don't know what they will do this year.
Last week we started visiting primaries as a stake. The Primary presentations are starting. Tomorrow, we have three to attend, so for the 9:00 meeting, we will have to split our presidency up. I love this time of year. Last week's program was so full of the spirit--I loved it!
Also, I am on our Super Saturday committee. They put me in charge of the food class, and they want a lesson on make ahead desserts for Thanksgiving. I got on the internet and checked out some recipes and there are some pretty yummy-looking recipes. I think I will make some and freeze them and then thaw them out the day of the class to see that they really do work.
Lilian came to stay with us Tuesday night. It was fun to see her for a minute. She really had fun at the "So You Think You Can Dance" performance. She was 5 rows back, and came all by herself. I was very impressed. She is still looking for a house in North Davis County. I hope they find something wonderful!
Anyway, that is what I have been up to. Of course--NO PICTURES!

Family Picture
PICTURES ARE HERE!
I finally got my pictures onto a disk so that I could put them on my blog. I guess I will put some with the previous posts, but I will also make a slide show.
My Stake Activity Day activity is finally over! It turned out very well. We have a Pennies By The Inch kick off every year (last 4 years), and I am the one over it, so every year I have that stress. This year we called it "Flower Power" and had flowers everywhere. The girls arrived and were able to make a flower pen. They wrapped floral tape around a pen to attach a flower. I am sure you have seen those. Anyway, we then fed them dinner--Hoagies, chips, water, and a cookie. It wasn't fancy, or huge, but it was yummy. The cookies were the Lofthouse kind with the pink frosting and flower sprinkles. After dinner we had a 5-minute presentation about Primary Children's hospital, then split into three different classes that we rotated. One class was about gratitude and writing thank you notes. We called it "Growing with Gratitude." It was done by my amazing friend, Tonya. She writes wonderful thank you notes to people all the time. Sometimes you don't even know that you have done something, and then a note comes in the mail. Her notes make me feel so good about myself.
The other class was called "Blooming with Beauty" by my fabulous hair dresser, JoAnn. I love this woman! We have been through a lot together. She has so much energy and enthusiasm and is so valiant in any calling she has. She puts most of us to shame.
I wish I could have seen there classes, but my other friend, Lisa was going to teach my cooking class, "Taste-Buds" and had to go in for some emergency surgery, so I ended up teaching her class. She would never had dumped it on me if she could have helped it. I hope she can get better and feel well. She is also a dynamic person. The class would have been so cute if she could have done it, but I took what she had and we had fun. The girls all seemed to have a great time.
There you have it. I don't write what I am up too. I am lazy or something, or maybe I think it will bore you all. I don't have any pictures of the even, but I should have taken them. The decoration were adorable, the girls were darling, and our kitchen help was invaluable. Thanks to anyone involved who may be reading this! Woohoo! It is over!!!! I have been stressing about this for months.

CHELSIE'S 6TH BIRTHDAY
FIRST DAYS OF SCHOOL

Here are some pictures of Becca and her roomates, Becca's doorm bedroom, her roommate Alyssa from Alaska, and their fridge.
Chelsie has had two weeks of first grade and is doing really well. Nathan is also doing well in the fifth grade. He is in the process of trying out for student council. Nathan has also started a paper route which adds more to our hectic schedules. Rachel has adjusted to high school and things seem to be going well.
Carissa started BYU on Tuesday, and Becca starts BYU-I tomorrow. It is kind of stressfull doing new things, but I know the girls will do well. It was hard leaving Becca on Thursday evening, knowing that she was all alone with not a soul she knew. Her roommate is from Wood Cross, so that will give them some common ground. Her other roommates are from Alaska and Illinois. Becca is doing well. Carissa has a week under her belt and feels like she may be able to get a job and still keep up on her studies.
