Every time I get on to check everyone else's blogs, I feel like I have nothing to post. This morning as I sat in an awards assembly for Rachel, I realized, "Hey, I could post this." I am so proud of her. Being daughter number three, I think she gets a little overlooked, but she has done so well and so much.
She has been the Laurel President in her class for a year now, she is on the Youth Council for our city, does well in school and so much. She received an award this morning for a poetry contest that she won. Actually, this year was different because two people won, but still. In the assembly, they had her read her poem, and I was so proud of her.
She also received a four year, full tuition, fees, and books scholarship to Weber State. It was so fun to see her and her friends up on the stage to receive these great awards. Can I say again how proud I am of her?
