Christmas Piano Recital
Nathan and Rachel participated in their annual Christmas piano recital on Monday, December 15 at Bountiful Music. It is so fun to have our piano recitals there. They have this bright yellow grand piano and we think that is pretty interesting. We love Char, our piano teacher, and both Nathan and Rachel did great jobs. Nathan played "Joy to the World" and Rachel played "Bring A Torch Jeanette Isabella." I was proud! Char did something she has never done before. She had an impromptu performance from her oldest students and had one group do a duet and another group do a trio. That was humorous and we all had fun. After the recital, we went to Bajio (our favorite place), and had dinner.
1st Grade Program
Chelsie's first grade class performed the annual 1st grade Christmas program Thursday morning. David went to work late, and Becca woke up early so that we could go see it. Rachel wanted to get out of school and Nathan got to see it at a school assembly. Carissa was still at BYU. The program was so cute! Chelsie was adorable! You had to be there!!!
Carissa and Becca are home for the holidays. It is so good to have everyone back and have the house full.
Family Night--Dec. 22, 2008
We decided to get our cookies made for Santa! We made sugar cookies and got creative. We have a plate piled high just waiting for Santa to come, and he is going to have to share with his Reindeer because he can't eat that many.
Hagberg Sibling Christmas Eve Eve dinner Last night we had our fun "adult" Christas party. Anne and Stewart were generous enough to let us invade their beautiful home, and we had a great time. We had Crab (of course), wonderful cheese ball and crackers, Chicken Parmesan, Carrots, Cheesey Potatoes, Chocolate milkshakes, and Chocolate Cake (good thing Chocolate starts with a "C").
This is my cake. It tasted even better the next day.
I had so much fun visiting with my brothers and sisters and their wives and husbands. I have fun when I am with them, and we only get together as adults about once a year. They really are funny people, and I mean that in a good way. Thanks, everyone, for a great night.
Merry Christmas!
