We went to the pumpkin patch yesterday and then carved pumpkins for Family Home Evening. We listened to scary music and then went outside and lit our little jack-o-lanterns. Rachel's is the lioness, Chelsie's is next, David's and mine is the sad one, and Nathan's is on the far right. We had fun, and I roasted the seeds this morning. We (most of us) love roasted pumpkin seeds. It is weird only having three kids at home, but we saved some money on the pumpkins : ).

New addition to the Wainwright Family
Rachel is taking child development and got take home a baby this weekend. She has a special bracelet that she is wearing so if the baby cries, she can hold it and the bracelet acknowledges that she is paying attention to the baby and it stops crying. She also has a bottle that somehow helps the baby. Anyway, the baby has done absolutely nothing all weekend. We don't know if there is something wrong with it, but she hasn't made any breathing sounds or crying or anything. It has been pretty quiet. Her name is kayette.
Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday to Carissa and David. Carissa, and Becca came home for Conference Weekend, and David's mom was here. We used the time we were all together to celebrate Carissa and David's birthdays. David's is on Wednesday and Carissa's is on Thursday. Becca used her cake decorating skills (compliments of BYU-I) to decorate a cake for the occasion. She made it on Saturday and we all couldn't wait to eat it. It was wonderful!
Tips
Nathan got a notice last week that he had received a $4 tip for delivering the clipper. He has been doing it for 2 months and so far has received praises both months for not missing a paper. Some days are pretty close calls on getting it done on time, but he has his loving mother there to help (most of the times). Anyway, I am really proud of the job he has done.
