This has been a busy week, and I have taken my camera almost everywhere, but when I got home, realized that I hadn't taken one photo. What is wrong with me? It started on Monday with our annual neighborhood block party. It almost didn't happen, but thanks to our neighbor Marj, it actually happened. It was fun for the kids to get to play in the street (we block off the road), have water fights, hang out together, get pop from JoAnn's pop machine (she furnished the quarters), and for the adults to relax for a moment. It was great!
Then, Tuesday was the Primary Olympics barbeque. Another major water fight occurred. It was also fun.
Also, Tuesday, Nathan started his paper route for The Clipper (our Davis County Paper). Tuesday wasn't bad, but Thursday... Oh My Goodness!!!!!!! It took forever, because that is the day that we deliver the little freebee, and it can't be in the driveway. It has to be neat and tidy on the porch. Anyway, it really did take us forever because Nathan was in flip flops and was not hussling. We both are a little lost, but will learn the route soon. Once we know which houses to deliver to and get used to the route, I am hoping we can have it done in a little over an hour.
Friday night, we had a ward campout. It was very pourly attended, but the Wainwrights were there. Carissa and Becca made sure they got work off and everything, and they were the only teenagers there. I think they remember the days of ward campouts when they were little and all the little children would run around. I am glad they were with us, but I think they were a little disappointed. Their cousin Mandy showed up last minute, so she came along and that probably saved the day.
Of course, no pictures of any of this, but really, it did happen.

Cousins from Nevada
I have had so much fun seeing family the last few days. My cousin Maggie and her husband Jeff and their four cute children came to visit Saturday night. We barbequed together and visited and reminisced. It was very fun to see them, and made me realize what a bad relative I have been. I had forgotten that Maggie had been having health problems and I never even called to check on her. I am going to be better because I love these people. After they left, I realized that I had not taken one picture. That is so typical of me!
Sunday night, my Aunt Geri and cosin Lilian and her two cute kids came and spent the night. Lilian is moving to South Ogden and had been looking at houses. It was fun to watch Chelsie play with Laci and Nathan entertain Brigham.
Then this morning, John and Gina came with their cute three kids (plus one on the way). They were all heading to Lagoon to have a little family reunion. Maggie and Jeff were meeting them there. The only sibling missing out was Marta who was in Mexico. It was so good to see all of these people, and I did take a picture this morning, so if I can figure out how to use my new camera, I will post it.
